A: Children’s Home

1. Target age group: Children and teenagers from 1 to 18 years of age (Limited to Chinese only)

2. Our children and teenagers are largely:

  1. Orphans who have lost their parents or care givers
  2. Handicapped, be it physical or intellectual
  3. Abandoned by their families
  4. Abused, and cases have been referred to the police or the court
  5. In poverty as a result of accident, illness or family disintegration
  6. Raised in a single-parent family due to family violence, disintegration, poverty, accident or illnesses

3. We provide underprivileged children with care and education under a typical family environment of love. At the same time, we also help them to obtain social welfare for their healthy upbringing. Through our services, we hope to share with the underprivileged and needy children and teenagers our love, transforming their lives to regain self esteem and renew their hopes. Besides full lodging and meals, we also coach, guide and mentor the children in their education, activities and emotional development so that they are able to grow healthily in all aspects.



B: Lady’s Care and Protection Centre

1. Target age group: Teenage girls or women from 17 to 50 years of age (Limited to Chinese only)

2. Our beneficiaries are:

  1. Physically or emotionally abused
  2. In poverty as a result of divorces, diseases, family disintegration or loss of spouses through accidents

3. Services offered:

To provides custody, emergency assistance, and other services that include but not limited to medical, legal, counselling, transitory facilitation and welfare advice.

Our main objective is to enable women who have suffered hurt emotionally and physically to regain:

  • Self-confidence: Restore and make complete one’s faith
  • Self-respect: Treasure oneself and develop further potentials
  • Self-love: Love oneself and also begin to love and care for others

4. We take in or facilitate qualified applicants through:

  1. Short-term stay and assistance in obtaining social welfare, medical and other rights and benefits.
  2. Partial or full subsidies for the services rendered.
  3. Emergency assistance to other family members, including lodging and protection for their children.
  4. Learning new skills to sustain their livelihood.



C: Infant Care & Protection


a. Providing lodging for unmarried mummies-to-be

b. Providing counselling and emergency assistance

c. Facilitating adoption plan

d. Providing skills training and career guidance

e. Resolving cases of abandoned infants



Funding

Our centre is founded on our Christian faith and the passion to care for the less fortunate in our society.

- To achieve our missions and objectives, funding support is critical.

- To date, we have not had any regular source of funding.

We intend to seek donations in kind (money, food recyclable products or other items) through churches, corporations and the public at large in order to sustain our operations.
